This marble features a vortex of green, red, blue, purple and yellow spun around a dot implosion The back is a beautiful pink sandcarved with a series of circles and dots. The lense is also sandcarved with those same circles and dots. Where the pink meets the red is a raked band of color that invokes a drippy look. This piece looks great both lit from the outside and on it's included USB powered wooden LED stand.

These sandcarved pieces are made utilizing an extremely time consuming multi-step process. I first create the piece on the torch and anneal it in a digitally controlled kiln. I then clean the piece with acetone, lay out a series of images on a layout program, cut those images on a vinyl plotter, apply them to the the piece, sandblast the piece, soak them in acetone to remove the decals, clean them, and oil them.
