This piece features a colorful dot pinwheel section over a yellow cap on a milky purple body, The other side is a spun dichro section carved with a honeycomb. and a band of drips around the peremiter.

These sandcarved pieces are made utilizing an extremely time consuming multi-step process. I first create the piece on the torch and anneal it in a digitally controlled kiln. I then clean the piece with acetone, lay out a series of images on a layout program, cut those images on a vinyl plotter, apply them to the the piece, sandblast the piece, soak them in acetone to remove the decals, clean them, and oil them.
